The Eels have covered the last three against the Panthers and have split the last four at Penrith Stadium. This is a good spot for Parramatta. They have covered five of six as an underdog and four straight as an underdog of more than a converted try. They have also covered 12 of 18 off scoring 20 points plus. Bet on Parramatta and you will be in this for a long time. Betting Strategy & NRL Tips BACK: Parramatta Eels +8.5 at $1.75+ BACK: Parramatta Eels at $2.40+ Click here to view markets for Panthers vs Eels on the Betfair Exchange Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders Canberra have an outstanding record in Melbourne and can pull off the upset this week. Covering the line looks an excellent play. The Raiders have won four straight at AAMI Park, including a 20-16 win in Round 18. Canberra have also covered 20 of 30 as a road underdog. These two teams typically score low with 16 of the last 18 going under the total. This further boosts the chances for the big plus. Betting Strategy & NRL Tips BACK: Canberra Raiders +8.5 at $1.75+ LAY: Melbourne Storm at < $1.50 Click here to view markets for Storm vs Raiders on the Betfair Exchange Cronulla Sharks vs North Queensland Cowboys This is the most even matchup of the opening weekend of the finals and it is the Sharks’ head-to-head record over North Queensland that pushes them into the play. The Sharks have won eight straight against the Cowboys, including a 26-12 win in Round 18. Four of the last five wins have been by double digits. The Sharks’ form holds when they are scoring, with eight covers from nine off scoring 30-plus. Betting Strategy & NRL Tips BACK: Cronulla Sharks at $1.70+ Click here to view markets for Sharks vs Cowboys on the Betfair Exchange. Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs The opening week of the finals kicks off with the oldest rivalry in rugby league. These two met only last week – with the Roosters winning 26-16. Each team gets plenty of attacking weapons back this week, which – in the afternoon conditions – makes the over the play. The last six games between these two have topped 40 points whilst the over hits at 61% when these teams have met since 2008. Betting Strategy BACK: Total Points over 42.5 at $1.75+Click here to view markets for Roosters vs Rabbitohs on the Betfair Exchange. Play Your Way on the 2022 NRL premiership season with Betfair.
